Union Plaza Warranty

Digital Cameras, Flashes, Camcorders, Mobile Phones, Tablets, E-Book Readers, TV & Entertainment Items, Watches, Home Appliances are covered by Union Plaza 180-Day Warranty.

  • The period of the warranty is 180 days starting from the purchase date.
  • Only manufacturer´s defect is covered by the warranty.
  • The following items are not covered by any warranty: Cosmetics Items, Lego Toys.
  • The warranty does not apply to the followings:

  • The malfunctioning product is further used, altered, or repaired without the agreement of Union Plaza.
  • The product is sold to or the warranty claim is made by third parties.
  • Products that already come with manufacturer warranty or Mack warranty.
  • Periodic checkup, maintenance, repair, or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tears.
  • Costs relating to transport, removal, or installation of the product.
  • Misuse, including the failure to use the product for its normal purposes or incorrect installation.
  • Damages caused by shock or fall, sand, dirt, dust, dampness or corrosion, leaky batteries, lightning, liquid, fire, acts of god, war, public ventilation or any other causes beyond the control of Union Plaza.
  • Particularly dust and other particles entering a camera lens is not under the warranty.
  • LCD/LED Screen contains 1-3 defective pixels.
  • Any failures related but not limited to battery life and insufficient battery duration, etc.
  • Products purchased on websites or places other than UnionPlz.com
  • Waterproof products.
  • Important Notice:

  • The warranty covers the camera and / or lens only; excluding items such as accessories and batteries.
  • You must try a hard "reset" on your product (whenever applicable), to see if that fixes the fault.
  • Once the warranty claim is acknowledged and permitted by Union Plaza, you will arrange signature-required delivery service with tracking number to return the product to Union Plaza or to a specific authorized repair center for further assessment.
  • At the stage of returning the product, the nature of fault (manufacturer´s defect or human damage) has not been determined. It will be determined by Union Plaza or our authorized repair center after the product is received and assessment is completed, and we will inform you the result for further arrangement.
  • If it is found to be manufacturer´s defect, we or our authorized repair center will start the repair procedure and return the repaired product to you at our cost.
  • If it is found to be human damage, we or our authorized repair center will advise you the repair fee and return postage required for consideration.
  • For products suffering from human damage, a payment of return postage from you is required for Union Plaza or our authorized repair center to return the repaired / unrepaired products. Otherwise, Union Plaza or our authorized repair center will keep the product for solely 60 days and dispose the product without prior notice after that period.
  • For products suffering from human damage, which is determined by our authorized repair center, the warranty claim will automatically become a direct job between you and our authorized repair center. Union Plaza will not be responsible for further communication. If the repair is declined by you, an assessment fee of US$50 to our authorized repair center will apply.
  • For products that is found to be required only a "reset" to fix the fault, a payment of US$50 and return postage will apply. Therefore, it is a must for you to try a hard "reset" on your product (whenever applicable) before returning it.
  • For non-repairable products that are purchased within 180 days, Union Plaza may compensate you with certain percentage of value of the unit price, with the consideration on time of use (in 180 days at maximum). For example, if the unit price of your non-repairable product is US$1,000, and you have used it for 90 days, the compensation will be US$500. The compensation will be issued in the form of Union Plaza Coupon / Store Credit only.
  • A manufacturer test report, clearly stating the nature of fault, is strongly suggested to be obtained by you before the warranty claim is made or the product is returned. If the product is returned without this test report from official repair center of the manufacturer (excluding "authorized repair center" of the manufacturer and any other repair center), Union Plaza is not obligated to provide any paperwork or report to prove the nature of fault. Union Plaza will not be responsible for any cost to obtain the manufacturer test report.
  • By returning your product to us, it indicates that you agree to above and terms & conditions discussed during the warranty claim.
  • In the event of any dispute, Union Plaza reserve the rights of final decision.

  • UnionPLZ.com offers you the best online shopping experience and customer services. Your purchase is safely protected by our 14-Day Return Policy.
  • Terms & Conditions

  • All products purchased from UnionPLZ.com, excluding Mack International Warranty and Mack Diamond International Warranty, are covered by the policy.
  • Refund if any will only be given at the unit price less any discount offered. Shipping fee and other charges will not be refunded.
  • Request of return must be made via email within 14 days upon receipt of the product.
  • Once the return is acknowledged and permitted by UnionPLZ.com, you will arrange delivery service with tracking number to return the product to UnionPLZ.com.
  • The returned product shall be examined by our product specialist, checking whether the product meets the Terms & Conditions of this Policy for a refund.
  • If the returned product is eligible for a refund, UnionPLZ.com shall make the refund via PayPal within 7 working days upon receipt of the returned product.
  • If the returned product is NOT eligible for a refund, you shall be contacted with the reason and UnionPLZ.com shall send the product back to you.
  • The cost of sending the product (not eligible for a refund) from us back to you would fully be responsible by you. In case you do not pay this cost, UnionPLZ.com shall not send the product back and keep the product for 60 days. UnionPLZ.com will dispose the product without prior notice, if this cost is still not received from you after 60 days.
  • The policy SOLELY applies to the followings:

  • Unused and unopened products which are in original conditions.
  • Purchases with a valid order number.
  • The policy does NOT apply to the followings:

  • Mack International Warranty and Mack Diamond International Warranty since they are beyond the control of UnionPLZ.com and are non-refundable after registrations.
  • Any contents, including packaging materials, inside the package are broken.
  • The product is sold to third parties.
  • In the event of a dispute, UnionPLZ.com reserve the rights of final decision.
